Who Am I?
I am a multimedia artist and designer primarily trained in design, a self taught programmer, and hobbyist linguist.
In 2017 I taught myself to code in order to create mods for my favorite rouge-like.
This eventually lead to two things: my interest in esoteric programing languages which later lead to my interest in constructed languages, and being assigned as the lead programmer for a newly formed F.I.R.S.T. robotics team.
Around this time, in 2018, I enrolled in a dual credit graphic design program at Jefferson College.
All three of these things redirected the direction of my life.
I did not consider myself an artist at the time, and I inconsitently apply that label to myself even today, but I did learn a lot about the technical side and craft of digital art and began to do freelance work.
In 2020 I graduated from that program and a year later enrolled at the same school in an "Associates in Fine Arts (in Art)" degree focusing on graphic design.
I learned a lot in this period of my life, such as "I don't want to spend my life doing graphic design".
By 2024, with this new knowledge in hand, I graduated from that degree and enrolled at the Kansas City Art Institute for a Bachleors of Fine Arts (in Product design).
